The VFSS holds an annual winter retreat in beautiful Crescent Beach. The retreat offers two days of non-stop acoustic music and the opportunity to meet other singers and musicians.
From Friday evening until Sunday afternoon, retreat participants enjoy workshops, presentations, songcircles, and concerts focused on folk music. Retreaters also have time for informal jamming with fellow music lovers or for strolls along the nearby beach. On-site lodging is in dorms or cabins, meals are catered, and children are welcome to attend.
Winter retreats are held in late November/early December.
